Famous in the former French colonies for over 70 years and used recently for decades by the Army, these are tough working knives.
Constructed of 3 pieces of metal (handle, blade, spring) they are simple and rugged. For an everyday knife this is the one that is in my pocket, not only because its profile is slim, but also because of the curious etchings of native mythological characters ("douk-douks"). This knife bears "The Sorcier" (the sorcerer), a Polynesian spirit incarnation originally believed to bring good luck.
- Handle ferro-blackened folded steel
- Blade high carbon steel / Length 2.5"
